Happiness through small acts of kindness!

Doing little acts of kindness for your significant other can make you happier - even if you don't get a ‘thank you’ or an act of kindness in return! That’s according to new research from the University of Rochester. They found people were happier, and felt closer to their partner, on the days they went out of their way for their loved ones, even if their generosity went unnoticed. And it can be as small as making them coffee in the morning, picking up their favorite take-out meal for dinner, or leaving them a note that says “I love you”. Just doing something kind makes your life feel more meaningful. It’s the act of doing it - NOT the validation you get from the recipient. So, do something small for the one you love, without the expectation of a ‘thank you.’ You’ll feel closer to them and happier with yourself!
